Matthew was born in norwich in march 1987 he was the second child of linda and lenny. matthew or matty as he was known had an older sister claire and 3 years after his birth a younger sister naomi. matty being the only son was the apple of his mums eyes, but also a handful as when matty was 10 he was diagnoised with A.D.H.D.matty did not like school, found it hard to concentrate and had fantasic temper outburst, but was a gentle boy with a heart full of gold and would not hurt anyone or thing.when Matty was born he had the most gorgous white hair,you could always pick him out in a crowd. matty loved to play with his cars lining them up in a sright line, he always knew if there was one missing and would not settle till it was found. i used to have to search the whole house till it was found, he could have 2-3 cars which i thought was the same but he knew the difference, it may only be a mark but he knew.Matty went to play school and had a friend called duncan, they went everywhere together and went to each others to play. we moved house and matty never seemed to make alot of new friends. matty had 2-3 friends that he would play with butnever any best friends till he got older then at matty's furneral it was packed with friends that we never knew about. brad was and still is a very close friend of matty he has remained very close to ourselves and still goes and visit matty weekly at his graveside. matty had a girlfriend called gemma who we stay in contact with but has now gone to uni and im sure matty is there with her helping her along.matty's sister naomi is completing her 3rd year at uni and i know matty is there for her. matty gives her stenght to carry on, as he completed courses to become a fully trained mechanic just after he died, something that his family did not believe he could do but he proved us wrong and i am so proud of him for that.
